Brandmatt (Schwarzwald)

December 28, 2011 to January 2, 2012

About 30-40 students from a wide range of cultures and languages participate in our international Christmas and New Year retreats. In the past, there has been a great atmosphere of sharing and friendship due to this colourful mix of people. We hope the same will happen again this year!

Brandmatt is located in the wonderful Schwarzwald region. Normally there is a lot of snow in the winter time. This gives opportunity to sledge and go for walks in the snow.

Who is invited?

International students and graduates, along with their families, and German students who bring their international friends.

What's on the programme?

We will read and discuss the Scriptures together, to get to know the Christian Faith better.
We will celebrate New Year's eve together! A highlight will be the international banquet where everybody is invited to prepare specialities from his home country.

We will play games, sing together and have an evening of music and entertainment.
There will be evenings during which we can learn about each others culture.
We will go on a trip to Hornisgrinde mountain and to the Mummelsee lake.
But of course there will also be time for you to make suggestions as to what to do!
